Pair of Edinburgh Crystal ‘Tweed’ Design Small Wine Glasses

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal small wine glasses from the ‘Tweed’ range produced by Edinburgh Crystal.

The rounded bowl is decorated in its lower part with a cut pattern consisting of eight large five-limbed fans, which come into close approximation forming arches. The area between and beneath the fans is filled with cut diamonds in relief. The solid base of the bowl merges with the long, straight stem, which is moulded with six vertical ‘facets’, thus making it hexagonal in section. The foot is star cut and is marked on the edge with the words ‘EDINBURGH SCOTLAND’.

Each glass has a height of approximately 15.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.7cm and across the foot of about 6.2cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 170ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 260g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
