Pair of Dartington Glass ‘Poppy’ Design Lead Crystal Dishes AH470/3 in Original Box

This is a pair of high-quality moulded lead crystal dishes from the ‘Poppy’ range, designed by Anita Harris for Dartington Glass.

Each bowl is formed from three lobes, which taper in towards the base. They are moulded to look like open poppy heads.

Each bowl bears the original Dartington gold label, which is indicative of ‘first’ quality. In addition, each bowl is marked on the base with the Dartington ‘D’ logo.

The bowls come in their original Dartington box.

These bowls have the pattern number AH470/3 and were the smallest bowls produced in the range.

Each bowl has a height of approximately 5.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 12.5cm and across the base of about 4.5cm.

They have a weight (including the box) of 670g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some wear to the exterior of the box.
