This is a pair of high-quality cut lead crystal liqueur or cordial glasses, probably attributable to the British firm Richardson.
The bucket-shaped bowl is cut in its lower half with a series of five large crosses, the upper and lower arms of which come into close approximation. In the diamond-shaped panel thus formed is a further cut cross with elongated lower limbs that intersect the lower limbs of adjacent large crosses. In the upper arms of each large cross is a three-pointed fan. The stem is of solid baluster form and the foot is star-cut and unmarked.
Each glass has a height of approximately 7.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 3.9cm and across the foot of about 4.1cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 25ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 80g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
