This is a good example of a large decorative flower vase produced by the Swedish company Lindshammar, and probably dating to the 1970s.
It has a bulbous upper portion with an everted rim. It then tapers in to merge with the hollow, bulbous knop and deep, discoid base, which is also hollow.
The base is flat and unmarked.
It retains the original black and silver label, which reads ‘JC MADE IN SWEDEN’. This is the label for Jones & Co., who would have imported the glass from Sweden.
The piece is made from a bright amber shade of glass, which has a concentration of colour around the rim.
It has a height of approximately 21.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 10.9cm and across the base of about 9.1cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 530g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
