This is a nice example of a lead crystal hollow candleholder, designed by Frank Thrower in 1971 for Dartington Glass.
The piece is simple yet elegant, with a cylindrical midsection that widens to form a galleried rim. The foot is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 15.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.5cm and across the foot of about 6.3cm.
This is the smallest product from the FT141 range and is referred to as ‘Medium’ in the catalogue.
It has an unwrapped weight of 280g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
