Dartington Crystal ‘Torrington’ Design Lead Crystal Half Pint Tankard DR477

This is a high-quality lead crystal half-pint tankard from the ‘Torrington’ range produced by Dartington Crystal.

The tankard is made from thick lead crystal with an everted rim and a broad, tapering body, which widens out as it approaches the thickened base. The latter has a central polished pontil and is marked at the edge with the Dartington ‘D’ logo.

There is a short curved handle attached below the rim, which widens out as it approaches the lower attachment above the base.

It has a height of approximately 9.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.4cm and across the base of about 8.7cm.

It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 300ml.

It has an unwrapped weight of 520g.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
