This is a classic example of a flower vase produced by Blue Mountain Pottery.
The vase is approximately gourd-shaped with a flared rim. The whole piece is decorated in a mottled and streaked green glaze.
It is moulded on the base with the word ‘CANADA’ and the Three Trees logo. This ‘Three Tree’ mark was designed by Chris Yaneff in 1967 and was in use until 1976.
It has a height of approximately 12.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.5cm and across the base of about 7.9cm.
This piece has an unwrapped weight of approximately 540g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
PLEASE NOTE: As there are a few of these available and they are handmade the glaze patterns may vary slightly from that of the one in the picture. They will be very close but may not be identical.
