This is a classic French blue milk glass vase produced at the end of the 19th century.
The vase has been made in a three-part mould. The lower part is globular and stands on a discoid base. The body is moulded with a stylised floral design. Above this, there is a neck ring and the neck flares out to a wide, fluted rim. The base has a central rough pontil.
It has a height of approximately 11.6cm, a diameter at the rim of about 6.9cm and across the base of about 4.1cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 110g.
It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is a burst bubble on the surface of the body, which is a manufacturing flaw. There are also a few minor marks on the inside of the base commensurate with use.
