Pair of Cristal d’Arques ‘Louvre’ Design Wine Glasses
For a full product description, see below.
This is a pair of wine goblets in the classic ‘Louvre’ design of Cristal d’Arques of France.
The bowls are bucket-shaped and the lower part has a series of tapering wedge ‘cuts’, which gives the underside of the bowl a serrated appearance. The stem is moulded to give the appearance of a hexagonally faceted baluster, with a flattened knop just below the bowl. The foot is plain and slightly domed.
Each bowl bears the original gold sticker.
Each glass has a height of approximately 15.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.4cm and across the foot of about 7.0cm. According to the catalogue, each glass has a liquid capacity of approximately 25cl.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
