This is a pair of charming non-lead glass pan champagne glasses dating to the first quarter of the 20th century.
The capacious pan-shaped bowl is vertically ribbed, which is more noticeable in the base of the bowl. This merges imperceptibly with the solid, tapering stem. There is a globular attachment at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. The latter bears a central Y-shaped tool mark.
Each glass has a height of approximately 10.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.7cm and across the foot of about 7.5cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 150ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 290g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd wear and tear scratch to the bowls commensurate with age.
