Pair of Dartington Glass ‘Compleat Imbiber’ Design Claret Glasses FT151/4

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal claret glasses from the ‘Compleat Imbiber’ suite by Dartington Glass.

The capacious bowl tapers in and merges imperceptibly with the solid stem. This flares out to form the rounded foot; the latter is plain and slightly domed in the centre. They are unmarked.

Each glass has a height of approximately 12.2cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.7cm and across the foot of about 7.0cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 330ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 440g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few wear and tear scratches to the bowls and feet, commensurate with use.
