This is a high-quality cut and moulded lead crystal brandy glass, possibly attributable to Edinburgh Crystal.
The rounded bowl is cut with a series of six large crosses, the lower limbs of which are elongated and cross over. Within alternating diamond-shaped panels thus formed is a small cross over-cut with a vertical cross. The remaining diamonds each contain a cross-cut, as does the diamond panel below the centre of each large cross. In addition, there is a five-pointed fan between the upper limbs of each of the large crosses.
The stem is plain and the foot is star-cut and unmarked.
Each glass has a height of approximately 12.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.3cm and across the foot of about 6.8cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 340ml.
Each glass has an unwrapped weight of 240g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
