This is a charming set of six cocktail glasses, probably continental in origin and dating to the 1950s.
The base of each bowl is rounded with straight sides. This then flares out to produce a broad, trumpet-shaped bowl. The bowl sits on a short cylindrical stem with a bladed knop situated just above the centre. The foot is plain and unmarked.
Each glass is decorated on the bowl with fine vertical white lines, each terminating with a dot below the rim. On the lower portion of the bowl, between adjacent white lines, is a vertical lenticular stripe in black. This black can also be seen on the bladed knop.
Each glass has a height of approximately 8.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.4cm and across the foot of about 5.8cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 90ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 450g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
