This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal cocktail flutes produced by Dartington Crystal in the mid-2000s.
Each glass has an elongated trumpet-shaped bowl that tapers in towards the short, solid stem. There is a discoid collar at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. One glass is marked on the edge of the foot with ‘© DARTINGTON’.
Although stylistically these glasses are reminiscent of champagne flutes, they are featured in the 2006 Dartington Crystal catalogue as ‘Cocktail Flutes’ with pattern number ST2082/1/P’. They would be perfect to use for champagne cocktails such as Buck’s Fizz, Mimosas, or a Kir Royale.
Each glass has a height of approximately 23.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 8.0cm and across the foot of about 7.6cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 220ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 420g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
