This is a set of four high-quality, cut lead crystal cocktail glasses produced by Richardson Glass and dating to the second quarter of the 20th century.
The short, conical bowl is cut with four elongated cross-cuts. Between adjacent crosses are three horizontal wedge cuts stacked on one another. The bowl merges with the short, baluster-shaped stem and plain, flat foot.
Two of the four glasses are marked on the underside of the foot with a Union Flag and the words ‘RICHARDSON BRITISH’.
Each glass has a height of approximately 8.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 7.2cm and across the foot of about 5.7cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 70ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 430g.
They are in good condition, although one glass does have a minor (1mm) nick out of the foot. This is only noticeable on close inspection, but I mention it for the sake of completion.
