This is a quirky and unusual ceramic utensil pot, maker unknown but probably dating to the 1970s.
The pot is cylindrical in shape and glazed in a mottled orange-brown colour, which is streaky in some places. On one side, the words ‘SPOONS THINGS’ have been stencilled on in black.
The underside is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 14.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.7cm and across the base of about the same.
It has an unwrapped weight of 400g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
