Pair of Dartington Crystal ‘Regency’ Design Wine Goblets FT118 with Laurel Cutting

This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal wine goblets from the sought-after ‘Regency’ suite, designed by Frank Thrower for Dartington Crystal.

Each glass has a capacious, bell-shaped bowl. There is a broad discoid collar at the junction of the bowl and the solid, cylindrical stem. There is a further globular attachment at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. The latter is unmarked.

The bowl is cut around the centre with a stylised laurel wreath in matte intaglio.

Each glass has a height of approximately 13.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.6cm and across the foot of about 8.7cm.

Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 350ml.

They have an unwrapped weight of 840g.

They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
