This is a pair of high-quality lead crystal double old-fashioned whisky tumblers from the ‘Dimple’ suite by Dartington Crystal.
The body is cylindrical in shape with a heavy, thickened base. This is domed in the centre to give the ‘dimple’ effect. The edge of the base is marked with ‘© DARTINGTON’.
In addition, the glasses bear their original black paper labels and come in their original cardboard box, although the box and one of the labels are quite worn.
Each glass has a height of approximately 9.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.1cm and across the base of about 8.8cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 400ml.
They have an unwrapped weight (including the box) of 1200g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although as previously mentioned the box and one of the labels have sustained some wear.
