This is a fine example of a high-quality leaded wine glass dating to around 1840 to 1850.
The glass has a round funnel bowl which sits on a discoid collar. Below this, the stem and foot are formed from a ringed conical base. The latter is polished flat around the edge and hollow in the centre.
It has a height of approximately 12.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.5cm and across the base of about 6.7cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 115ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 180ml.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a couple of pieces of enclosed frit in the bowl (see pictures). These are manufacturing artefacts.
