This is a vibrant example of a high-quality leaded wine glass dating to between 1820 and 1830.
The wine glass has a drawn trumpet-shaped bowl with a slightly everted rim. The bowl merges with the solid stem and sits on a broad, discoid foot. The latter has a central polished pontil.
The piece is made from glass in a deep shade of amethyst (purple).
It has a height of approximately 13.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.9cm and across the foot of about 6.7cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 90ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 110g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
