This is a high-quality lead crystal posy vase from the ‘Impressions Range’ by Edinburgh Crystal.
The vase is of classic form, with an everted rim which tapers into a short neck. This then widens out to form the elongated body. This sits on a thickened, discoid base which is star cut and marked on the edge with the words ‘EDINBURGH MADE IN SCOTLAND’.
The vase is decorated on one side with a motif consisting of a central female golfer in mid-drive who is flanked by stylised curved laurel sprigs.
The vase has a height of approximately 10.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.8cm and across the base of about 5.0cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 260g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
