This is a high-quality lead crystal wine goblet in traditional style, probably from the late 1970s, produced by Cumbria Crystal.
The capacious bowl is approximately bucket-shaped and stands on a solid, balustroid stem. The broad, discoid foot is plain and unmarked.
The bowl bears the original round plastic sticker, which reads ‘26% PbO LEAD CRYSTAL CUMBRIA CRYSTAL MADE IN ENGLAND’. In addition, the glass has its original Cumbria Crystal paper tag.
It has a height of approximately 20.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.8cm and across the foot of about 9.4cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 425ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 690g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
