This is a lovely example of a large wine glass from the ‘Studio’ range produced by Lindean Mill Glass in the Scottish Borders.
The glass has a capacious, bell-shaped bowl with an applied pink glass rim. There is a discoid attachment at the junction of the bowl and the short stem with a low ball knop. The foot is plain and marked in the centre with ‘LM98’.
Although these glasses are marked with ’98’, indicating they were made in 1998, the ‘Studio’ range continued to be produced right up until the closure of Lindean Mill Glass in 2025.
The glass has a height of approximately 16.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.8cm and across the foot of about 7.3cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 350ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 260g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
