This is a charming set of six liqueur or cordial glasses dating to the turn of the 19th to 20th century.
They are made from thick soda glass (non-lead glass), with a bell-shaped bowl that is cut around the centre with a band of elongated ovoid-shaped facets. The base of the bowl is thickened and there is a discoid collar at the junction of the bowl and the plain, straight stem. The foot is broad and has been polished flat. Some glasses have traces of the tool marks in the centre of the foot.
Each glass has a height of approximately 10.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.7cm and across the foot of about 5.1cm. There are minor discrepancies in the dimensions due to the handmade nature of the glasses.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 35ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 450g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
