This is a highly attractive glass bowl, probably a finger bowl, dating to around 1890.
The bowl has a short straight rim, which widens out to form the angular body. This curved in to form a shallow rounded base. The latter sits on a short discoid foot that is polished flat with a broad polished pontil.
Just below the rim is a band of wheel engraving. This consists of a central circumferential matte band with small polished circles through the centre. This is bordered above and below by a fine circumferential line and a band of small dots.
It has a height of approximately 5.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 11.7cm and across the foot of about 6.2cm.
It has an unwrapped weight of 160g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few wear and tear scratches to the glass commensurate with age.
