This is a high-quality cut and moulded lead crystal brandy glass from the ‘Kinross’ suite produced by Edinburgh Crystal.
The capacious bowl is cut with four large seven-pointed fans, the outer limbs of which cross at the base. The area formed between adjacent fans contains a lattice consisting of three rows of interlocking crosses.
The bowl sits on a short stem, which merges with the plain, flat foot. The latter is unmarked.
The glass bears the original purple and silver diamond-shaped sticker, which bears the Lion Rampant emblem and the words ‘EDINBURGH CRYSTAL’.
It has a height of approximately 12.1cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.2cm and across the foot of about 7.2cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 375ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 255g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
