This is a charming example of a Georgian lead crystal dram glass, probably dating to the turn of the 18th to 19th centuries.
The glass has a conical bowl which tapers in and merges with the short, cylindrical stem. The bowl and stem are moulded with a wrythen effect.
The foot is plain with a central rough pontil mark.
The glass has a slight yellow tinge and has numerous tiny bubbles and some enclosed pieces of frit at the junction of the stem and foot.
It has a height of approximately 10.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.4cm and across the foot of about 5.2cm.
It has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 50ml.
It has an unwrapped weight of 70g.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
