This is a pair of charming soda glass (non-lead) pan champagne glasses dating to the early 20th century.
The capacious bowl is cut below the rim with a band of horizontal oval cuts. Every three oval cuts is an inverse fan cut with a matte finish. Above the ovals is a band of short, undulating blaze cutting, also with a matte finish.
The bowl sits on a solid, tapering stem. There is a globular attachment at the junction of the stem and the plain, flat foot. The latter bears the remains of a central linear tool mark.
Each glass has a height of approximately 11.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.5cm and across the foot of about 7.3cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 175ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 250g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd wear and tear scratch to the bowls commensurate with age.
