Dartington Glass Pasta Jar FT121 with Original Sticker

This is a fine example of a pasta storage jar by Dartington Glass dating to the 1980s.

The jar is approximately cylindrical with a thickened base. There is a short, waisted neck and a slightly everted rim. The body is plain and bears the original black plastic label, which reads ‘DARTINGTON ENGLAND’ 24% LEAD CRYSTAL’.

There is a tapering cork that creates a fairly good seal at the top.

It has a height (excluding the cork) of approximately 32.7cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.9cm and across the base of about 9.0cm.

It has an unwrapped weight of 450g.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd wear and tear scratch to the body and base commensurate with age.
