Masonic Heber Lodge ‘Old English Night’ Tot Glass c.1978
For a full product description, see below.
This is a nice example of a utilitarian tot glass of masonic interest.
The glass is of classic form, with a low ogee curve and thickened base. The latter is plain and unmarked.
The bowl is etched on one side with a pair of intertwined compasses and the words ‘HEBER LODGE 4388 BRO. J. E. MAKINSON W.M.’ On the reverse, it reads ‘OLD ENGLISH NIGHT 30TH MARCH 1978’.
It has a height of approximately 7.3cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 5.9cm and across the base of about 4.8cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few wear and tear scratches to the bowl commensurate with age.
