This is a highly attractive example of a Czechoslovakian glass candlestick dating to between 1890 and 1900.
The candlestick is made in three layers – an inner white glass layer, ‘splattered’ with vibrant pink and green aventurine, encased in an outer flint layer. The base is plain and slightly domed in the centre.
It has a height of approximately 21.3cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 4.7cm and across the base of about 9.5cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
