The conical shaped bowl is continuous with the plain stem. One side of the bowl bears a cut design featuring a hop with associated foliage. Opposite this are two ears of barley, which are mirror images of each other, their stems crossing over to form a single motif. The foot is plain and slightly domed with a central rough pontil. The edge of the foot has been folded under to thicken it and make it more durable.
It has a height of approximately 14.4cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 5.4cm and across the foot of about 6.2cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is the odd striation within the glass, which is a manufacturing artefact.
