This is an attractive little posy vase or potpourri holder by Jersey Pottery.
The piece is approximately cylindrical in shape, with a large central hole in the top surrounded by a ring of eight smaller holes. It is decorated with a thick circumferential band of black at the rim and the base. The centre is decorated with elongated vertical strokes of alternating brown and pale blue glaze, bordered by straight vertical lines in black.
The base is hand painted in the centre with the words ‘JERSEY POTTERY C.I.’ and the initial ‘F’
It has a height of approximately 7.1cm and a diameter across the base of about 8.2cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
