This is a high quality ceramic decanter made to commemorate the birth of Princess Beatrice in 1988.

The decanter is made from high quality porcelain and is finished in 22-carat gold. It contains 75cl of Bell’s Finest Old Scotch Whisky and is still sealed.

The decanter comes in a cylindrical box with metal lid; this is finished with an impression of a coat of arms but the lid is corroded (see photograph). The card cylinder is printed with the details of the decanter.

The decanter has a maximum height of approximately 19.8cm and a diameter across the base of about 15.0cm.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although the box and lid are worn (see photographs).
