Wood & Sons ‘Wood’s Ware’ ‘Beryl’ Design Milk Jug in Green

This is a highly attractive milk jug from the ‘Beryl’ range by Wood & Sons of Burslem.
It has a rounded body and a small everted pouring spout. It sits on a short discoid base. The handle is of simple scrolled form. There is a band of five incised circumferential lines around the centre of the body. The underside of the base is marked in black with the words ‘WOOD’S WARE BERYL ENGLAND’.
It has a maximum height of approximately 8.2cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 10.2cm and across the base of about 5.2cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
