Product Description

Details

This is a classic example of a vintage vase produced by Whitefriars Glass and probably dating to the 1960s.

The thick flint glass has enclosed streaks of green. The vase tapers inwards from the base to the rim and has a random knobbled effect. The base has a central polished pontil. Just below the rim, it bears the original Whitefriars paper label.

This piece has the pattern number 9612 and can be found on page 32 of the 1969 Whitefriars catalogue.

It has a height of approximately 24.5cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.7cm and across the base of about 8.5cm.

It is in fair condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is a small bruise at the base. This is only visible on close inspection but this wear has been reflected in the price.
