This is a classic Whitefriars design vase from the 1960s.
The inner ruby glass portion is oval in section. This is encased in a flattened ‘teardrop’ shaped layer of flint glass. The base is polished flat.
This vase has the pattern number 9572 and can be found on page 12 of the 1964 Whitefriars catalogue.
The vase has a height of approximately 13.9cm, with a maximum width across the rim of about 3.7cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
