Whitefriars Green Footed Ribbon Bowl 9306 c.1949

This is a classic Whitefriars design from the late 1940s. This particular bowl is featured on page 10 of the 1949 Whitefriars catalogue. The pattern number is 9306. I believe this particular shade of green is known as ‘Sea Green’. The bowl has a moulded design of ribbon-like hoops on the outer surface. There is a small foot, which bears the characteristic central polished out pontil. The height of the bowl is approximately 11.6cm, with a diameter across the bowl rim of about 21.3cm. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
