Whitefriars Amber Ribbed Glass Sundae Dish M91
This is a classic example of a mid-20th century sundae dish by Whitefriars.
This is a classic example of a mid-20th century sundae dish by Whitefriars.
The bowl has a wide rim that tapers in to merge with the short, solid stem. The whole is made from amber glass with a vertically ribbed pattern. The foot is plain and slightly domed in the centre.
This piece has the pattern number M91 and can be seen on page 26 of the 1957 Whitefriars catalogue.
It has a height of approximately 8.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 10.0cm and across the foot of about 7.9cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
