This is a nice example of a Wedgwood Glass rose bowl, designed by Frank Thrower.
The bowl has been made in ‘Midnight Grey’ coloured glass, which contains 24% lead. This pattern is known as ‘Juliet’ and has the pattern number FJT8. The bowl has a rippled pattern, which is known as ‘optic. It is unmarked, but bears its original sticker, which reads ‘WEDGWOOD LEAD CRYSTAL ENGLAND’.
The height of the bowl is about 12.1cm, with a diameter at the rim of 11.7cm and at the base of about 6.0cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
