Wedgwood Glass ‘Falstaff’ Design Ale Tankard FJT44 in Clear
For a full product description, see below.
This is a high-quality hand-made lead crystal tankard by Wedgwood.
It has a traditional rounded body with an everted rim and sits on a discoid base. The substantially rounded handle has been separately applied. There is a central polished-out pontil on the base.
It has a height of approximately 13.2cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.5cm and across the base of about the same.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few scuff marks on the side of the handle, which look like they have been caused by a polishing wheel during manufacturing.
