Vintage Price & Kensington ‘Cottage Ware’ Design Ceramic Cruet Set

This is a very attractive ceramic cruet set from the ‘Cottage Ware’ range by Price & Kensington.
The set consists of salt, pepper, and mustard pots moulded and decorated in the form of a row of separate thatched cottages. Each pot has a door on one side and a window on each of the remaining sides. The chimneys of the salt and pepper pots are perforated and each has the original red plastic bung in the base. The roof of the mustard pot forms a detachable lid and has a recess for a spoon. The pots sit in a rectangular dish.
The base of the dish is marked with a laurel wreath in which are the words ‘PRICE KENSINGTON’ and below this are the words ‘MADE IN ENGLAND COTTAGE WARE REG. NO. 845007’. In addition, the base is impressed with the words ‘MADE IN ENGLAND P&K’.
Each pot has a height of approximately 8.0cm. The dish has a length of approximately 19.2cm and a width of approximately 9.3cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
