Stuart Crystal ‘Newport’ Design Large Lead Crystal Wine Goblet
For a full product description, see below.
This is an unusual high-quality lead crystal wine goblet from the 'Newport' suite by Stuart Crystal.
The bucket-shaped bowl tapers in towards the thickened base. The straight stem has an 'air-twist' in the form of four elongated bubbles twisted in a double-helical pattern. The foot is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 15.9cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 9.0cm and across the foot of about 7.9cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there may be the odd piece of enclosed ‘frit’ which is a manufacturing artefact.
