This is a high quality lead crystal ale glass, probably dating to between 1810 and 1820.
The elongated bowl is broadly cylindrical, tapering in to a discoid collar. The stem is short and slightly waisted. There is a further large discoid collar at the junction of the stem and plain flat foot. The latter has a polished out pontil.
It has a height of approximately 12.8cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 5.3cm and across the foot of about 6.5cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are one or two fine wear and tear scratches to the bowl and foot.
