Set of Six 1950s Port Glasses with Peach Frosted and Gilded Bowls
For a full product description, see below.

This is a set of six vintage port glasses, probably continental in origin and dating to the mid-20th century.
The rounded bowl is decorated with a thick band of gilding at the rim. Below this are five further bands of gilding. The lower part of the glass tapers in towards the base and is decorated with an opaque ‘frosted’ finish in peach. There is a gilded ball knop at the stem and a plain, flat foot. The latter is gilded around the edge and unmarked.
Each glass has a height of approximately 7.8cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.8cm and across the foot of about 5.2cm.
Each glass has a liquid capacity (to the brim) of 80ml.
They have an unwrapped weight of 300g.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there is some wear to the gilding in places. There is also some pitting around the rim; this is a manufacturing artefact as it has been gilded over.
