This is a highly attractive set of four card coasters or mats advertising Tuborg Lager and dating to the mid-20th century.
Each mat is round and printed in red. Both sides have the same motif. There is a stylised crown surmounting the words ‘BY APPOINTMENT TO THE ROYAL DANISH COURT THE ROYAL SWEDISH COURT THE ROYAL HELLENIC COURT ASK FOR TUBORG LAGER’.
Each piece has a diameter of approximately 10.8cm.
They are in good condition, although there is some yellowing around the edges from age.
