Seltmann (Weiden) Retro Porcelain Cereal/Breakfast Bowl
This is a nice example of a retro breakfast bowl by the German company Seltmann.
This is a nice example of a retro breakfast bowl by the German company Seltmann.
The bowl is made from white porcelain and has a slightly everted rim. The latter is decorated with a ring of slim green ovals.
The underside is marked in the centre in green with a stylised crown surmounting the words ‘SELTMANN WEIDEN BAVARIA MADE IN GERMANY’.
It has a height of approximately 3.8cm and a diameter across the rim of about 18.7cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few wear and tear scratches commensurate with the age of the piece.
