Product Description

This is a delicate, high-quality bone china milk jug from the ‘Bernina’ suite by Royal Worcester.

The jug is low and helmet-shaped. The lower part is hemispherical and sits on a discoid foot. The piece tapers in and flares out again at the rim, which is gilded. There is an internal sprig of pale pink and white flowers with dark green foliage.

The exterior is transfer printed around the centre with a ring of small white and grey flowers with dark green foliage. This surmounts a further gilded ring, which terminates at the lower attachment of the geometric handle. This is also highlighted around the edges with gilding.

The edge of the base is also gilded in a band. The underside is marked with the Royal Worcester crown logo, and the words ‘ROYAL WORCESTER BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND BERNINA’.

It has a maximum height of approximately 8.5cm, with a width across the rim of about 8.8cm and a diameter across the base of about 5.0cm.

It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
