This is a classic example of a retro glass vase by Riihimaën Lasi Oy (Riihimaki) and originating from Finland.
The vase sweeps out from the rim to form a ‘shoulder’ and then tapers inwards towards the clear glass base. It is made from a dark green glass encased in flint glass.
It has a height of approximately 18.0cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 6.3cm and across the base of about 7.0cm.
It is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some water marks to the interior that are commensurate with age. This wear is reflected in the price.
