This is a nice example of a flower vase designed by Aimo Okkolin in 1960 for Riihimäen Lasi Oy.
This is a nice example of a flower vase designed by Aimo Okkolin in 1960 for Riihimäen Lasi Oy.
The vase has a thickened base and tapers in slightly to a low discoid portion. This widens out and then tapers in towards the rim. The whole is made from dark blue glass encased in flint. The base is plain and unmarked.
It has a height of approximately 25.6cm, with a diameter across the rim of about 4.9cm and across the base of about 9.8cm.
It is in good condition, with no chips or crack, although there are a few wear and tear scratches to the base.
